MNF Bonus B&B

Fantasy Football Rankings

Anyone ever been in a relationship? Had your heart broken? Walked around after like a lost puppy dog with no direction? Then someone suddenly suggests a night out? Your friends set it all up, a night on the town! You head out with the slightest bit of optimism. Have a few drinks a few laughs then it happens! All your buddies start suggesting a rebound! Go find someone to temporarily fix your woes, instantly gratify your most animalistic needs. The next part of this sad story is totally up to you. Like one of those 1980s Choose Your Own Adventure Books. You lost fifty dollars Sunday on FanDuel/DraftKings? You have two options. One, skip to Sunday where you can win it all back and maybe double your profits! Two, a quick fix a solid rebound and forget it all happened. For the sake of this article and my well being I’ll make the decision for you! You’re going to chose option number two! The quick fix, a rebound that will wash away all sorrows by evening! Monday Night football! Thursday Night football!
Football will never move out, it’ll never cheat and it surely will never say, “It’s me Chris, it’s not you.” Here is my bonus B&B plays for Monday-Thursday Night football…

To be fair there are only two options at QB for me on this two game slate and its not close. On such a small plate of games I feel no need to get cute or contrarian.

Matthew Stafford DET @ NYG (FD-$8,600)(DK-$5,800)

Ah, the golden boy! The comeback king! Jokes aside this guy can play! He faces a similar situation in NY tonight that he did at home vs. ARZ. The run will be stuffed, throw Matt throw!

Jared Goff LAR @ SF (FD-$7,600)(DK-$5,200)

This kid is going to be a great fantasy asset. He spreads the field and plays SF Thursday. I’d rather be on it now then left standing while the bus goes past!

RB on this two game slate is quite deep, well to me it is. There are a few hammers and a few burners. Choose Your Own Running Back 1980 children books style!

Todd Gurley II LAR @ SF (FD-$8,900)(DK-$6,800)

This guy is a little of both! McVay has started using him in BOTH the running game AND passing game! Hammer me please!

Carlos Hyde SF v LAR (FD-$8,100)(DK-$5,200)

Another do it all back for SF. He can hammer it in on the goal line OR catch a pass for 20-30 yards. Hyde will get a ton of work Thursday.

Ameer Abdullah DET @ NYG (FD-$7,400)(DK-$4,100)

Strictly burner who will be busy running routes and catching passes more then anything. If that’s the case sign me up. Long TD reception anyone?

Shane Vereen NYG v DET (FD-$4,700)(DK-$4,00)

Pass catching utility guy who will also see a ton of work in the passing game. If the Giants watched any tape of DET v ARZ they will see the importance of the short pass game.

WR isn’t as clear cut as RB goes. Will OBJ play or won’t he? What the hell is Sammy doing in LA? What will Golladay do for an encore? I’ll do my best to help you decide what adventure you’d like to take with these WR’s…

Golden Tate DET @ NYG (FD-$8,3000)(DK-$6,800)

Tate catches a TON of passes, he had 10 in week 1. Yes his finger is fine, he will give the Giants fits Monday night!

Pierre Garcon SF v LAR (FD-$7,400)(DK-$5,300)

Another PPR monster, the receptions will come. Let him take you to the promise land Thursday.

Cooper Kupp LAR @ SF (FD-$6,500)(DK-$4,700)

I’m going to mention this kid until he calls and tells me not to. Goff looks his way quite often. Missed out on TD Sunday by a yard or two.

Brandon Marshall NYG v DET (FD-$7,800)(DK-$5,00)

He can’t be that bad two weeks in a row right?

At this point deciding what TE to roster sounds exhausting. It really is a choose your own wacky adventure. I have a weird feeling we see a TE who scores 2-3 TD’s on this slate.

George Kittle SF v LAR (FD-$4,500)(DK-$2,500)

This guy is going to break out one of these weeks! Why not on national television?

Evan Engram NYG v DET ($6,700)(DK-$3,200)

Hate to say it but he’s my choice at TE to put up a great game on this slate. DET may be all in on other Giants so much so that Evan sneaks away a few times.

The highest over/under of the two games is DET/NYG but SF recently lost the battle of the kickers in SEA. That being said only one kicker is on my radar.

Matt Prater DET @ NYG ($FD-4,500)

He has a huge a leg and Caldwell has no problem putting him out there at ANY length. O/U 50 yard FG’s tonight? I’ll open it up at 1.5!
On a small slate such as this, you have a 25% chance of picking the right DST. Jokes and math aside I have two options…

San Francisco 49ers SF v LAR (FD-$4,100)(DK-$2,900)

This bunch put up quite the fight in SEA on Sunday. They are the cheapest DST on the slate. I could see another low scoring battle. It is Thursday Night Football! Did you watch last week???

Detroit Lions DET @ NYG (FD-$4,600)(DK-$3,300)

Few factors here, will OBJ play? No way Eli and the NYG play that bad again right? Are the Lions really this good on defense? The city I reside in aside, I’m going with the latter. The Lions win big in this one. Cue the stupid Eli face meme.

Thanks for the read. I hope this helps you choose you own adventure. Choose wisely, an embarrassment of riches may lie ahead. What ever team you decide to roster look at it as a rebound. It should be a quick fix for all the bad decisions you made Sunday! It’s never coming back, well aside from maybe a family party or when your grandma asks why you’re not see that lineup anymore!

Look for Bottom of the Barrel wk 3 Tuesday!

Good luck people! Here’s what I’m rolling with…
